We’re looking forward to returning to beautiful Rosewood Farm in Leeds, AL to host this year’s Kick Off Show. A central location with multiple lighted rings (including a covered ring), turnout options, and ample parking, it’s a wonderful venue for our coaches, riders, and their families.

Perpetual Trophy Nominations
Nomination for our 2025 perpetual trophies are now open! Please take a few minutes and let us know why your nomination is deserving. Nominations will be open until December 1st with voting to come prior to the 2025 Banquet in January.

Blackjack Show Rescheduled
The Blackjack Farms Horse Show scheduled for 4/6/25 has been rescheduled due to the chance of sever weather. The show will now be held on 4/12/25 at Fox Lake Farm in Birmingham, AL. Any entry already submitted will still be valid, so no need to resubmit. The add/scratch feature is open online now to make any changes. New entries are due Wednesday 4/9/25.
Kick Off Show - Hunter Premiere
Thank you all who attend our Hunter Kick Off Show this past weekend at Fox Lake Farm. We are loving having our Kick Off Shows back in Alabama. Entries are due Wednesday for the Jumper Land Show scheduled for this Saturday at Falcon Hill Farm.

Revamped Kick Off Show(s)
A revamp is coming to the Kick Off Show! We are excited to announce not one but two kick off shows for 2025. Hunter weekend will be at Fox Lake Farm March 1-2 and Jumpers will be held at Falcon Hill Farm March 8-9.

The Kick Off Show is scheduled for this weekend! We are going to charge on even though there is rain coming our way.
Please find the new schedule below and please note that the start time on Saturday is depending on the rain but we will not start before 12.
We are also adding a $500 Pony Handy Challenge to be run on Sunday prior to the $500 2’ Handy Challenge.

2023 members are able to vote for the 2024 board of directors, the new rule book proposal, and perpetual trophy nominations.
2024 Rulebook Proposal
The AHJA Board of Directors is proposing adopting a new rulebook for 2024 and furfure years. Please take a few minutes to read through the proposed rulebook. Those who had a 2023 membership will be allowed to vote on its approval next week. Please email AHJApresident@gmail.com with any questions.

AHJA 2023 T-Shirts!
New AHJA shirts have just arrived. You can pick yours up at any show this fall. Sizes are limited but we will have them available until we run out. Shirts are $20 each and we have kids and adult sizes in two colors.
New Direction Events
New Direction Events will be hosting two weeks of showing this summer and both weeks have been sanctioned with the AHJA!
Summer Classic I: July 27-30
Summer Classic II: August 3-6
Both shows will be held at Chatt Hills in Fairburn GA.
