The Jill Dean Memorial Grant

Earlier this year the AHJA lost one of it’s valued members. Jill Dean has been a part of this association for over 20 years serving on countless committees and our board of directors for many years.

Her love of the sport was not lost on anyone. She was beloved by all of her students and made an impact on all of them. We want to honor Jill by offering a yearly memorial grant in her honor.

The Jill Dean Memorial Grant will be awarded annually to one rider at the AHJA Year End Show. This rider highlights the sprit of a great horseman with drive, dedication, and perseverance.  This grant is open to both juniors and amateurs with the recipient being chosen by the Year End Show Committee. The grant recipient will be provided the opportunity to show one horse at the AHJA Year End show at no cost to the rider.
